Thank you for posting. But I would like to pass some comments regarding the neiappan dish. It is orgin from Chettinadu cuisine (Karaikudi area), it is called Kuzhiparniyarum. You might be get familiar to this item by kerala cusine.

Hi Chettan and mini, Thanks for your comments. But in my place, we do it in the appakaral which is the paniyara kadai as shown in the picture. This version of Neyyappam is something that will attract the both kids and adults because of the dry fruits.

yes.this is karayappam or unniappam. for neyyappam batter is same.

I think south part of the kerala its called Kuzhiyappam, Difference is the cavity in the frying pan, Neiyyappam does not have cavity, its fried one at a time… I think so, right?
